Issue Position

Agri-Business is the largest industry in the state and must be protected. My grandfather and uncle raised cattle on the farm my grandfather bought after World War II. I now live on that same farm and my neighbors and friends are farmers.

Any effort to restrict the ability for young family members to help with the farm/family business should be stopped. A strong work ethic is what made this country great and most of that work ethic was learned on the farm.

Over regulation and lack of common sense enforcement of the existing regulation are a problem spanning agriculture and all other business sectors. I have spent the last twenty years helping farmers and others affected adversely by government regulation to economically comply or have fought to have them reversed.
